Admittedly, I struggle with dressing appropriately for cold weather. I’ve had this issue my whole life and I’m pretty sure it just stems from being in denial that the summer is gone. Typically my “go-to snow bunny look” is an over-sized sweater with skinny or straight-leg jeans—simple & easy. But when I was visiting family in Williamsburg, Virginia a few weeks ago, I wondered how can I change up my look without having to sacrifice comfort? Answer = Overalls.

I wear overalls frequently, despite the fact that they make my 4’11” frame look even more child-like, but I don’t care… like, at all. Although, on this particular day, I wanted to appear a little bit more pulled together. That is why I decided to pair my overalls with a fitted off-the-shoulder top so my figure wouldn’t be completely lost. I’m also fully aware that accessories are an easy way to upgrade a look , so I layered up some gold necklaces, and then added hoop earrings, an embellished bag, & my favorite heeled booties of the season.
