12 days of summer – day 6 |shopping|

Day 6 of ’12 Days of Summer’ has brought to my attention an obvious trend in these brands; they are all tropical-climate approved. Although I’m honestly not the least bit surprised, I should note that it wasn’t intentional. Following suit, today’s small business is—The Island Company! This is a South Florida-based brand that offers a little bit of everything, including beach blankets, sun care products, home accessories, and both men’s & women’s resort wear. My favorite pieces come from their line of ‘Quit Your Job’ products. I trust that anyone who starts dreaming of tropical vacations as soon as December 26th hits will love these just as much as I do.

The Island Company carries some of the most luxurious linen clothing I’ve seen. I’m a total beach bum, but even I can appreciate a crisp pair of white linen pants. Rest assured that those crisp, clean pants will be paired with a mane of wild beach hair & bikini top…Because, you know, balance. The Island Company also has gorgeous jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, dresses, & so much more. This brand leans a little to the preppy side of my style spectrum but I am a firm believer that it’s all in how you style it. I could wear white or blue linen every day for the rest of my life as long as I have a pile of bohemian jewelry & accessories to pair it with. Per usual, I linked some of my favorite pieces, but I definitely suggest you check out their website yourself to see all the different products they offer…
