[give to me your] leather + [take from me my] lace |style|

This outfit is inspired by one of my favorite Stevie Nicks’ songs, ‘Leather and Lace.’ To be honest, I try to channel Stevie Nicks in all aspects of my life because she’s an absolute icon—but I digress. As I’ve demonstrated on my blog time-and-time again, I’m an advocate for giving a feminine dress or outfit a little bit more edge with a good leather/suede bootie. Pairing these shoes with a nearly naked dress is also the only way I can participate in some “Fall” fashion without suffering a heat stroke in the Miami heat.

This dress has gotten a lot of interest on my Instagram and I can totally see why—It’s so damn pretty. It’s from a brand called “Hot as Hell” and their designs live up to their name 150%. I’m don’t typically wear “super sexy” clothing, mainly because I’m shaped like a 12-year old boy, but this dress definitely brought out a little spice in me. Admittedly, it’s difficult not to feel “Hot as Hell” in a lace-covered, flowy dress that has fully adjustable straps so you know that it’ll fit you just right. In my humble opinion, this brand is a must have for the slightly “edgier” bride-to-be out there. I would’ve loved to have a dress like this for my rehearsal dinner or bachelorette party, but I didn’t so I guess I’ll just wear it now… you know, to the gas station for a Diet Dr. Pepper run.
