Have you ever stumbled across a designer or artist before—whether it was a clothing brand, painter, interior decorator, jeweler, etc—that when you saw their work for the first time, you felt as if it was literally made for you? Well, that’s how I felt when I found Kate Davis Jewelry. I discovered her work about 4 years ago & have been in love ever since. There was something about her laid-back beachy style coupled with her insane talent for creating pieces that are not only stunning but also extremely wearable that spoke to me. Did I mention that all of Kate‘s creations are original designs & are handmade in her Charleston, SC studio? She is hands down the queen bee of ocean-inspired jewelry.

I love how perfectly all of Kate‘s creations layer & pair with one another. Although I’m wearing as many as 11 rings, 6 bracelets, & 3 necklaces in any given image, I by no means feel like they’re overpowering. It’s as if her pieces become a part of you in that you may never want to take them off. That’s the point of jewelry, is it not? To be worn? As an added bonus: The soft blush tones, gold settings, bright moonstone, & her signature blue hues make even the slightest bit of a tan look like you’ve spent a month in the Maldives.
