What To Wear Under Crochet | Style

Living on Miami Beach in barely there clothing during the summer heat for over half a decade has left me somewhat of an expert on what to wear under more see-through items, like crochet. Trust me, these items are all field tested and certified *buttery* soft, smoothing & seamless!

+ Nipple Covers: These are the exact *duuupe* of the brand Nippies. These are 2 pairs for $19.99 (often on sale for lower) -vs- $26.50 for a single pair. These are the best of the best & I wear them under everything. These are best under crochet with a tighter weave or even knit tops so you don’t see the whole cover.

+ The Bandeau: This is for my girlies who really don’t want to feel like their nippies or bra is showing. It feels more like a “top” but still minimal. It’s also obviously the best option for strapless & this exact style has a little rubber strip at the top & soft boning in the sides so it really stays in place nicely. *I’m wearing this is the pic above*

+ Seamless Bralette: I love this one specifically because it doesn’t have clasps in the back which to me always feel like, “Umm. Your bra is showing, ma’am” but not so much I’m intentionally wearing my shirt like this. Straps are adjustable; this sleek style gives a really seamless look with no distractions.

+ Seamless Underwear: Pretty straightforward & the style will just depend on what you’re wearing them under & how much coverage you want. The main takeaway is to choose a shade that is really really close to your skin tone! Skims is the gold medal winner in this category by offering so many different shades/tones & I am a ride or die “Sienna” girl. As a tan girlie I’ve never found a nude underwear that matches me better.

+ Nude Bikini: Last but not least, if you’re thinking, Rachael, I just can’t. I get you, sis. It took a few years living on the surface of hell down here in Miami to finally lose all hang-ups I had about showing a little ass in the name of comfort. So just keep it safe & cute with a really nice nude bikini. This is a favorite brand of mine.

I hope this was helpful! I appreciate you taking the time to tap through while I answer one of my most asked questions!
