Some of my most frequently worn necklaces are the interchangeable chains & charms from La Luna Rose Designs. She offers an array of different metals, chain lengths, and charm designs, so I thought I would describe my thought process when it comes to styling her pieces. Whether you’re just looking for style inspiration or you’re wanting to purchase some of her gorgeous little designs, I hope this helps!
I first start by considering the top I’ll be wearing as well as its neckline. If I’m wearing a shirt with a higher neckline (e.g., t-shirt), I typically opt for shorter chains but with more charms. Alternatively, If I go with a shirt with a somewhat lower neckline—like the v-neck romper pictured—I like to style single charms on longer chains.
After I’ve established what length of chains I’ll be styling, I consider what metal I want to wear! Truth be told, I’m a die-hard lover of gold jewelry but I also absolutely adore mixing metals, so don’t feel like you have to pick just one!
The final step is to stack the charms. I gravitate towards groupings of three, so for a short stack I like two charms on the shortest chain & one on the longest chain. For a longer stack, I like single charms on the top chains & 2 charms on the longest. And if I just thoroughly confused you, just reference the photos in this post 😉
