Day 9 of “12 Days of Summer” features a company that not only makes beautiful bracelets & bags, but also has a beautiful mission. The Giving Bracelets, is based out of Scottsdale, AZ, where all their pieces are designed & handcrafted. Their bracelets are “designed for purpose, fueled by passion, helping foster children prosper.” For each bracelet sold, a portion of the proceeds is generously donated to CASA for Children. If you’re unfamiliar with the organization, CASA for Children appoints advocates & mentors for abused or neglected children, to make sure they don’t get lost in the unfortunately overburdened legal or social service system. You may not have the time to volunteer as a mentor to a child in need, but by purchasing a Giving Bracelet you can help this amazing organization find people who can.

I was able to meet the owner of Giving Bracelets at a trade show in October & she just happens to be one of the nicest humans I have ever come across. You can tell how passionate she is just in casual conversation. I love spreading the word about small businesses that create products I love, but gorgeous products + passionate owners + a good cause? I think I died & went to perfect Holiday gift heaven. This would be an amazing gift for a mother, father, teacher, coach, or anyone who is passionate about children.
